Co-produced with Francois Tetaz (Architecture in Helsinki, Lior) the song is emotional and uplifting. Full-bodied and joyous in sound, it is Sally’s most vibrant work to date. As immediate as it is universal, Harmony to My Heart Beat is a colourful love song, a Wall of Sound for 2010.
The new album is coming along well and will be available in early 2010. Franc and I are still hard at work, and I’m focusing on vocal takes at the moment and trying to think of album titles. I’ll probably start the new year with some live performances too.
There are a couple of pictures from the night here.
For those of you who remember the Broken Social Scene remix of ‘I’ve Got you and You’ve Got Me’, American film maker Karen Abad has made a clip for the song which you can see on my MySpace page.
