Written with and produced by her husband Darren Seltmann, ‘Dancing In The Darkness’ is a beautiful ode to honoring the darker side of your psyche.

‘Dancing in the Darkness’ will feature in the pilot for the Australian TV show The Letdown. Created by Sarah Scheller with Alison Bell, and produced by Giant Dwarf (The Chaser’s War On Everything), The Letdown will also feature a full score by Darren and Sally Seltmann.

You can watch The Letdown on the ABC on May 4th at 9pm.

Portland show!

Sally Seltmann will be performing solo at Archipelago Gallery in Portland, Oregon on Saturday 7th May!

Supporting Sally will be local Portland artists Siren and the Sea, and LEO. Archipelago Gallery is at 3587 NE Prescott Street, Portland, Oregon. Tickets are $10, and will be available at the door.

May 29th at 10am, Sally Seltmann and Holly Throsby will be singing guest vocals with the wondrous Walter Martin, as part of Dress Up Attack for Vivid, in Sydney, Australia. Formerly known for his work with revered US outfit The Walkmen, Walter’s family album ‘We’re All Young Together’ is a charming and engaging release and features collaborations with the likes of The Yeah Yeah Yeahs Karen O, Matt Berninger of The National, and former Walkmen frontman, Hamilton Leithauser.

Sally Seltmann plays Newtown Social Club – February 4 2016

Having recently announced her show in Melbourne as part of the Andy Warhol | Ai Weiwei exhibition in February 2016, Sally Seltmann is excited to announce she’ll also be performing with her band in Sydney on Thursday 4th February at The Newtown Social Club.

Sally’s band will feature the super talented Bree van Reyk on drums, and multi instrumentalist Neal Sutherland (Dreamlanders).

Sally Seltmann has just returned to Sydney, after living in Los Angeles for two years, during which time she wrote songs for a string of incredible artists including Susanna Hoffs (The Bangles), Lo-fang, and Little Boots, as well as performing her own shows.

Sally has just begun writing songs for her 5th studio album, and she’d love you to join her on Thursday 4th February at The Newtown Social Club, where she’ll showcase some of her new material. Sally and her band will also play through favourites from her much loved albums ‘Heart That’s Pounding’ and ‘Hey Daydreamer’, as well as dipping into some New Buffalo tunes.

Supports for the show include romantic piano man Scott Spark, and the gorgeously haunting pop group Noire.

‘We Are The Music’ Video

The city lights of Los Angeles feature as the perfect backdrop in Sally Seltmann’s new music video for ‘We Are The Music’.

Shot in the famous Westin Bonaventure Hotel, the Jewelry District in downtown Los Angeles, and at the Santa Monica Pier, the clip follows guest star George Byrne as he embarks on a night out photographing the streets of LA. Directed by Erik Greensmith, the music video was filmed in December 2014.

We’d like to thank Jezebel.com for premiering the clip in the US, Exclaim for premiering the clip in Canada, and a special thanks to Rolling Stone for debuting the clip in Australia.

Heart That’s Pounding (Reissue)

We are excited to announce that the reissue of Sally’s critically acclaimed album ‘Heart That’s Pounding’ is now available for pre-order on iTunes. The album will officially be released on March 5th through Sally’s new label Three Of Hearts.

Pre-order the album now, and you’ll receive two instant (previously unreleased) grat tracks! The new tracks are acoustic versions of  ‘Harmony To My Heartbeat’ and ‘You’re Always’ that Sally recorded with her husband Darren in their home studio in Los Angeles. Please note that the new reissue is not available in North America, but the original 2010 edition is still available in North America via Arts & Crafts.
