Sally has put the final touches on her brand new album! It will be released in Australia/NZ via the newly-launched Caroline Label Services.
While an official single is due in November, Sally would like to reveal a taste of what is to come. That taste comes in the form of ‘Needle In The Hay’; a delightfully fantastic, wild, lost-at-sea adventure.
“I wanted you to hear this song first because it marks the beginning of a new journey,” says Sally. “It’s about losing yourself, following your heart, and above all – LOVE!”
Recorded and produced with her husband Darren Seltmann, the song features performances from a myriad of guest musicians, among them Bree van Reyk (Paul Kelly, Synergy Percussion, Holly Throsby) on drums & percussion and Michel Rose on pedal steel.
‘Needle In The Hay’ is accompanied by a new clip called The Sugar Fountain. The clip was created by Sally’s good friend & artist Isobel Knowles. Isobel says “Needle In The Hay has so many cascading, euphoric passages that lend themselves to this fantasy fountain… I like to describe it as ‘psychodelcious’!”
